1. Glory in Years
While there are 101 reasons to glorify your teenage years, you owe it to yourself to take a pause and understand that ageing isn’t that bad at all. Think about it, it wasn’t simply said by Shaw, that youth is wasted on the young. Well we’re NOT getting all cranky about the little toddlers around us but it’s merely an expression of huge volume of energy being misused on little bodies whose minds are still wondering a dust. KIDDING! Getting serious now, imagine the privilege of being 50 years wiser. All that experience, knowledge, love, and not to mention the whopping bank balance. We see you smiling already, good to go on! What a blessing it is to sit up with a cup of tea in your comfort knowing that you’re a few years apart to achieve retirement, trashing all that work chaos and stress out of your life completely. So, ageing is wonderful. More love, more MONEY, more serenity, more maturity and most of all more time to enjoy all the other “mores” in your life.
2. Welcome Changes
Changes are often perceived as a discomforted transition! The reality however, speaks louder than Poseidon’s roars. Nothing can ever be on the same phase for long and whatever that is without changes is no good for anyone. To further dramatize it, it’s called stagnation! The best thing you could do is to welcome changes gracefully as the year keeps adding. It’s not painless but if you train your young self to do it now, your old self is going to owe you a big thank you bomb. Bursting the happy bubbles, what will be the most spine-chilling changes that you’ll find difficult to cope? We’ve decide to scare you a bit, by listing down a few;
Your age will be exposed by the countless life lines on your skin. We just don’t like to call it wrinkles! Those are lines establishing your experience and knowledge bank. However, this can be solved with good skincare routines and the right anti-ageing treatment.

Say CHEESEE! Did you know that smiling is one of the most natural and cost-less anti-ageing treatment? Not only that it hikes good neurotransmitters dopamine, endorphin and serotonin but when your smile stretches across your face, your facial muscles tend to magically relax, calming the nervous system. Something else happens as well when you wear a gracious beam on your cheeks, oxygen travels fast to your brain. The more you smile the younger you look.
5. Please Don’t Stop the Music
You may have other petty limitations as you age but never a ceiling for your learning curve. Don’t restrict music to your soul by presenting your age as an alibi. Change is the end result of all true learning – Leo Buscaglia. Life without learning is deprived and dull. You could be a century old and still go to college, start a business, pick up a new skill/language, or luxuriate in the leisure time you’ve earned by experimenting the various exciting dimensions of life.
6. Go Mad Hatter with Your Travel Plans
50 is no age to slow down! Make a list of all the awesome places that you’ve always wanted to visit, draft your budget, get a buddy and GO FOR IT! Confucius wisely said, “wherever you go, go with all your heart”. The amazing journey, smell of new air, mosaics of alien cultures and a gratifying sense of understanding life outside your comfort or experience will surely deck out new perspectives.
